Then it is to wait for a sign.
Don’t wait your whole life to die.
You should go forth and shine.
You don’t have to submit to the eye
Of anyone, even theirs, or mine.
Shine for the eyes aglow in the sky
Call them stars, that’s fine.
They spy the truth, but also the lie
That grows around us like a vine.
It trips and tangles, until we cannot fly
And we are confined in the mortal mind.
