My legs are like two dogs
That sleep in my bed.
There’s no room for them
And they won’t stop kicking.
They want to run all day
But I’m too tired to play.
My hands are like two little cats
rubbing and scratching my face.
My head is like a bird in a cage
That squawks nonsense all night.
My spine is like a snake in a straitjacket.
Imagine that poor creature’s plight.
I think what I need is a human being
To sleep in my bed tonight.
